Hardwood handle. The mop attracts and holds dust from hardwood, tile and vinyl floors. It has a swivel head and wedge shape to access hard-to-reach places. Swivel head for greater cleaning flexibility…
Suncast vertical sheds can handle everything from garden rakes to golf clubs. And they fit just about anywhere you need a little extra storage in the garage, next to the house, or in your yard. Like all Suncast products, these vertical sheds are built for durability, designed to protect your stuff from weather, and look good doing it.
The $10 Quickie Professional Large All-Purpose Broom has a wide head, but leaves lots of residue behind when sweeping flour and cat litter. Its long, springy bristles fling debris when sweeping piles into the dustpan.
“Most dustpans have an edge-to-edge ridge, but our pick’s ridge tapers near the sides of the large polypropylene body to make it easier to empty the dustpan into the trash. This design foiled our original water capacity test—the liquid flowed out the sides—but solid debris was no problem.”
You are permitted to bring your own food and drink into the studio; however, this must not be placed on any of the equipment under any circumstances. Any damage caused to studio equipment due to spillages and negligence with food and drink will be charged as per our damages policy above.
The $29 Simplee Cleen Microfiber Household Mop was the second-best dust mop we tested, but it was only at its best when combined with the Legacy Household Chenille Microfiber Refill Pad, which it doesn’t come bundled with. (The two coarse blue pads it comes with are terrible at picking up dust.) The bright green chenille pad is as effective as the blue chenille side of our pick, and the Simplee Cleen has a sturdy, extendable handle and a Velcro frame that can attach to different cloths. But the hard Velcro teeth are built into the frame, so once they wear out—and based on our durability tests they will—you’ll have to buy a whole new dust mop, frame, handle, and all.
The only way to improve a burger seasoned with McCormick Grill Mates Hamburger Seasoning is the same thing that improves any food:… bacon! Cook bacon on the grill with this easy-to-handle rack. The rack holds up to 6 strips of bacon and cooks them in a hanging position, allowing the grease to drip away from the bacon and into a well, where it can be emptied easily and prevent flare-ups while cooking on the grill. Your bacon will be browned and crispy without any mess! Drape bacon strips over top of the rack so that the ends hang down toward the grease wells. Place rack on the grill over indirect heat and cook until the strips are crispy and brown. Use heat-resistant gloves and grip the rack’s handles to remove from the grill, and place on a heat-resistant surface. CARE: To preserve and extend the useful life of this BBQ tool or accessory, wash with a mild dishwashing soap, rinse and dry immediately. Do not use abrasive scrubbers. May also be washed safely in a dishwasher. WARNING: ENTIRE UNIT WILL GET HOT. USE OVEN MITT OR GLOVE WHEN HANDLING. USE CAUTION WHEN HANDLING HOT GREASE, IT CAN BURN AND/OR CATCH FIRE. read more
Reclaim your garage or garden shed from a haphazard collection of garden tools. These extra-sturdy storage hooks keep shovels, hoes, rakes, brooms and more off the floor and safely out of the way. Each rack can hold three or four tools. Mounting hardware is not included. Set of two racks.
For my garden salvage project, I used colorful outdoor spigot handles and a length of reclaimed door casing to create a cheery wall-hung tool rack. The handle hooks are great for keeping my hand trowels and rakes at the ready and for holding my sun hat.
Personally, I like to save my vacuum for carpets/rugs, and I use a broom+pan+dustmop for hard surfaces. I start with the broom+dustpan to sweep up the “big chunkies” like dust-bunnies and the like, which tend to hind under chairs or tables, or underneath counters which overhang the floor, and then I follow up with the dustmop to collect finer particles in the middle of the floor and in areas with more regular foot-traffic. It’s just faster for me to be able to pull those tools out and go to town than it is to drag out the vacuum and wrestle with the extensions+cord to do the same job.

The $25 Casabella Height Adjustable Butterfly Floor Duster also has a great frame, but its height-adjustable pole is heavy, awkward, and unnecessary. Its cover didn’t hold up well in the wash, either; the fuzzy white edges shed a lot, and it wasn’t as good at picking up dust after being washed.
In my good christian neighborhood i have found it quite necessary to have my house as clean as possible, and this blog has helped me so much. Though my life is quite boring i like to put on a nice sweater brew up some tea and read away on this blog. I HATE MY SELF…MY EXISTANCE IS MEANING-LESS.
Planning tips: If you are planning a kitchen remodel, it’s ideal to figure out which cleaning tools and products you need to store before deciding on a broom cupboard. If the only tools that need storing are a broom and a basic mop, you may be able to do a broom cupboard as shallow as 6 inches deep. Even a very shallow cabinet can hold a broom, a stepladder and essential cleaning supplies, as shown here. If you have a stick vacuum or bulky mop, you may require 12 or 16 inches.
Clamp the board to your bench with at least 2 in. overhanging along the length. Center a 2-in. hole saw over each mark and drill a hole. The saw will overlap the edge of the board, creating a slot for the handles. If you want to paint or finish the rack board, now is the time to do it.
This rack is very useful in Texas. It’s very sturdy, on wheels, and holds more items than I expected. The wheels allow it to be moved out of the way quickly when one needs the garage for your car(s), as when there is a possibility of hail or tornado. It cost a little more than I had expected to pay for a lawn tool storage rack, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I believe it’s worth the cost. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Tool-Rack-with-Wheels/14003485
Make a pencil mark on the wood where you want each handle to go, keeping in mind that the handles should be evenly spaced. In place of two handles, I used vintage spring clips—great for holding long-handled tools—that I scored at a flea market, but hardware stores sell new clips in various shapes and sizes.
The packaging and info say the width is 37 inches. I bought it to put in a enclosed cabinet that is 37.25 wide. However, the product is actually 38 wide and therefore doesn’t fit. I don’t see how a company like Rubbermaid can make such a mistake.
This is the smaller of the two racks — 35 long; the other is 50 long. Took less than 10 minutes to install and holds an amazing quantity of heavy yard tools, including two pickaxes, a sledge hammer, a weed wacker, and a whole lot more. I’m now ordering one of their larger racks Monkey Bars Yard Rack in Gray for the rest of the tools. In another review I posted my experience with Monkey Bar’s customer service. All that I can say is that it’s superb and responsive customer service. Hard to beat that.

I wasn’t expecting such a good deal on these cute hanging storage cups. They are much bigger and sturdier than I thought they would be. They are a great deal for the price. They do not come with instructions but are very easy to assemble. I would definitely recommend them if you want cute storage cups to hang on your wall.
