Note: 9 out of 10 panels I’ve received are not exactly 8 feet. One of the last measured 85 3/4 inches some have been a fraction over. Now, as I am using trim this does not matter to me but beware the panels can be plus or minus 96 inches

With SmartSelect, you can easily set the ideal amount of steam for the surface. For other surfaces like stainless appliances, glass doors and backsplashes, you can switch from mop to hand-held cleaner in seconds.

We also found a lower level of satisfaction with the cleaning performance of steam mops on hardwood floors than with linoleum or tile. Quite a few users say the floor dried with streaks, or that the scrubbing pads included with the steam mop left scratches on their wood floors. Our advice is to be very careful before using a steam mop on any type of hardwood or laminate flooring. However, if you have tile, linoleum, or most of the other common types of flooring, a steam mop may be your new best cleaning friend.

Fill a trough or other container with sand to 1 inch from top. Pour in about 1/4 cup of motor oil (sand should have a slightly moist texture); stir. When returning tools to the trough, wipe them with a rag. The sand will keep tools clean and sharp, and the oil will keep them rust-free.

The Bissell 19404 PowerFresh starts heating as soon as you plug it in, and is ready in 30 seconds, when the digital indicator light stops blinking to let you know you’re all set to begin. It doesn’t have an empty light indicator (perhaps the only negative), but you can tell you’ve run out of steam when it makes a knocking sound. There are three digital settings (low, medium, and high), so you can easily vary the level of steam you want to use.

While it doesn’t have an extra bells and whistles, the O-Cedar was probably the fastest mop to set up and gets you started the soonest. With a couple of clicks, the addition of a velcro pad attachment that was the easiest to get on, and a fill of the water tank, you’re on your way. The best part about the O-Cedar is that it heats in only 20 seconds, the fastest heat up time of all our finalists. It weighs only seven and a half pounds, so it’s easy to push around, and it releases continuous steam until you unplug it.

But a Broom-Stick, perhaps you will say, is an Emblem of a Tree standing on its Head; and pray what is Man, but a Topsy-turvey Creature, his Animal Faculties perpetually mounted on his Rational; His Head where his Heels should be, groveling on the Earth, and yet with all his Faults, he sets up to be an universal Reformer and Corrector of Abuses, a Remover of Grievances, rakes into every Sluts Corner of Nature, bringing hidden Corruptions to the Light, and raises a mighty Dust where there was none before, sharing deeply all the while, in the very same Pollutions he pretends to sweep away: His last Days are spent in Slavery to Women, and generally the least deserving; till worn to the Stumps, like his Brother Bezom, he is either kickt out of Doors, or made use of to kindle Flames, for others to warm themselves by.[13]

Gardening tasks are a lot easier to accomplish when you are using the right tool for the job. However, with so many tools and gadgets on the market, it can be confusing to know which ones are really worth your hard earned cash. Here are 10 tools every gardener with a garden shed should have.

I don’t feel this item was worth the price of shipping, let alone the sales price. Flimsy and, in my opinion, not to be trusted for holding yard tools securely. It’s a chore finding just the right position and angle where things stay put. The plastic pegs spread and are quite slippery on metal.Too much cost involved in sending it back so I’ll use it for hand tools, about what it’s suited for. Also, it’s a couple of bucks cheaper on the makers web site.

There is NO corner reinforcement at all so that is where the problem starts. I ordered some 4ft GearWall panels that were much better packed so obviously Gladiator can manage to design better packing.

The Bissell 19404 PowerFresh Steam Mop Hard Floor Steam Cleaner and Bissell Symphony Pet All-in-One Vacuum and Steam Mop had the longest use times, both lasting 20 minutes (more than enough time to mop a kitchen floor). The Bissell Symphony also had the longest cord, extending 25 feet.

Use a table saw or circular saw to rip shelving 1/2 in. wider than the depth of the shelf bracket. Use 3/4-in.-thick plywood or solid wood for the shelves—it’s stronger and resists sagging better than any particleboard shelving product available.

A few strategically placed metal shelves and some plastic totes will really help you to get that garage organized. Plastic totes are really cheap and when you label them, you will always know what goes into them so you can find what you need much faster. Remember to stack things that can stack and use totes for things that cannot. Via: BHG – Budget-Friendly Bins

Since these organizers bear weight, their construction should feature strong and durable material. Plastic is the favorite material for broom holders because of their lightness. However, they are not strong enough unless they are toughened. The best brands are those features toughened ABS plastic. Some great brands are made of lightweight metal.

I have a problem in my garage. I have many shovels, rakes, snow shovels, a hoe, and many long-handled garden tools. I have nowhere to put them, though. My garage does not have inside walls, just the main beams, and I cannot put nails into the thin wood of the walls or I can damage the siding. Where should I store all of my long-handled tools? Any suggestions? And please don’t tell me to get rid of some, this is not an option. Thanks for your help!

Slatwall: These panels, made of medium density fiberboard (MDF), have overlapping layers and look a little like vinyl siding. They can be attached to drywall, masonry or wood studs, and the slats provide ample opportunity for attaching hooks and shelves.

Please don’t keep every pot that comes into your home, or you’ll run out of storage space! Keep just a few in different sizes so that you can repot plants. I like to label plants as I plant them, so that when they die back in the fall, I’ll remember what occupied that space. Use a pencil to write on Popsicle sticks – which doesn’t wash off or fade. Be sure to write the date you planted it. I like to keep the smaller items together in a basket on a shelf, or in a plastic baggie inside a flowerpot.

All gardeners, even the newbie ones, have some tools and supplies they need to know how to organize. Storing tool improperly can only lead to a mess pretty quickly. In order to avoid this problem, you need to know how to store your tools and supplies in an organized manner.

Wood sheathing, such as plywood or oriented strandboard (OSB), stands for a straightforward yet economical surface choice for garage walls. It could be fastened directly to the wall mounting utilizing screws, yet calls for none of the taping and finishing associated with drywall.

Tried to save a few bucks, paid for it with an absolutely terrible broom. Inflexible yet brittle, only have used it twice and already bristles are falling out constantly. Should have just paid another $4 and gotten a plastic one at the local store.

I next started arranging the tools in an order that maximized use of the space. It took almost no time at all to screw the PVC holders into the plywood divider. And I popped those tools in there just to get a peek. Oh,yes!
