I just got the recommended dust mop and took it for a spin — works great so far! But now it’s all full of dust and such, of course, and I’m not quite sure what to do with it. I’ve been a Swiffer user, and this is the point where I’d throw away the cloth and put a new one on. Do I throw the mop cover in the washer after just one use? With all the dusty stuff? Or pick off the dust bunnies, shake it out, etc.?

For the tall unit, use the bottom wall plate for the bottom of your box. Attach the plywood to create a 1-in. gap at the bottom for removing dirt or dropped items. For the shorter slant boxes, install your own blocking to create the bottom; leave a gap at the bottom of the plywood for those, too. We show 48-in. and 16-in. versions; you can make yours any depth or length you want.

BFT 1991 featured 3D computer animated opening titles, and a character named Jet by viewers during a write-in competition staged over the run. As in 1990, a promotional t-shirt was produced as a competition prize offered on various occasions. There was also a heat-sensitive colour change mug!

The dust mop heads are durable, aside from some stitching issues on the refills (detailed below). Several other dust mop heads frayed or fell apart in the wash, but the O-Cedar was almost like new after months of use and 5 washes. Our pick’s chenille nubs and microfiber pad never snagged on wooden floors, a problem we encountered with the Swiffer and a few other dust mops.

I wasn’t expecting such a good deal on these cute hanging storage cups. They are much bigger and sturdier than I thought they would be. They are a great deal for the price. They do not come with instructions but are very easy to assemble. I would definitely recommend them if you want cute storage cups to hang on your wall.

In the summer of 1989, the BBC1 Presentation Control Room was re-equipped for NICAM digital stereo and during this time, Children’s BBC decamped to sub control, down the corridor, once more. The new location was referred to on screen as The Boiler Room – a fitting term giving the ageing equipment in use in there. Unusually the camera angle used differed – the presenter sat not behind the desk, but stood in front of the monitor stack.

A storage solution for streamlined bathrooms, the Alchemi series from Dezi Home includes a simple, multi-functional wall-mounted rail that works as a towel holder or shelving system depending on how you install it. Horizontally it works as an organizer for a soap dish, soap dispenser and toothbrush holder, vertically it can be used to hold rolled towels.

Our pick is $6 from Amazon, where it has a 4.3-star rating and 45 user reviews. Most complaints are from people who warped the dustpan’s rubber lip by storing it improperly or who bought the dustpan without making sure it clips to their broom. (We checked many times, and it fits on the Casabella as securely as our runner-up fits with its bundled dustpan.)

The producer of Children’s BBC at this time was personnified by the very annoying Caretaker – always unseen save for his trademark broom. Opposite you can see Andy demonstrating the latest emergency measures supplied by viewers in the Ban The Broom campaign – a hacksaw!

Whether you are cooking kabob on outdoor grills or indoor ovens, there are a lot of tedious steps involved in turning each skewer …separately. There is also a chance you may burn yourself attempting to turn each skewer. Therefore, to make cooking kebabs safer, quicker, and efficient, we are introducing ‘SkeweRack’, shish kabob rack system that allows flipping over all skewers simultaneously. As evident from the below video, SkeweRack can minimize the steps involved in turning all skewers and make cooking enjoyable. SkeweRack is not only for those who love to cook, but also for those who want their family/friends to be safe during cooking. SkeweRack is made with sturdy stainless steel flat skewers and easily fits on grills and inside ovens. read more

Brooms are easy to maintain properly, but most people don’t know the basic rules for doing so. Rule one: Don’t store your broom with its weight on the bristles. Hang it up using the storage loop, or it against a wall with the handle facing down. Leaving a broom sitting on its bristles causes them to bend, weaken, and even break, which shortens your trusty broom’s lifespan.

Purchased the O’Cedar dust mop based on your recommendation. For hardwood floors, I understand I can use the mop dry. You mention in a response to a comment that it can also be used damp. Would you recommend just using water or some sort of cleanser? And should the mop itself be dampened (with a spray bottle?) or the floor sprayed and then mopped?
