I ordered this because it looked great in the picture. I wish that people were more honest when rating product information! How can someone be so happy with something when the quality is not there? This dust mop is flimsy and the handle must be screwed back into place several times during use. I have all hardwood floors. If you do I would recommend buying something more industrial for use. This was my fault and everytime I use it I will be reminded that I should have been more aware of what I was doing when ordering and not trusted those 4 and 5 star reviews

Got this for my closet. It matched my room and I just wanted it too hold light things. It does bow someone with weight, but it shows that in the picture. So if you do not look at the picture for more than a glance you may be disappointed like a few other reviewers who were expecting more. But I have put quite a bit in this and it doesn’t seem like it is going to break. I have had it for 2 months.

The rewiring complete, Children’s BBC was back in the usual Broom Cupboard in September 1989. A new ident was unveiled to accompany the new autumn schedule. This was electronic, an Acorn Archimedes computer being used to generate the animation live each day. The opening animation was a five second form up of the Children’s BBC logo, accompanied by either a sting of the same length, or same followed by a musical bed which was played underneath the opening link. Notably the ident was also used, for the first time, at the end of each section of Children’s BBC, where it was played in reverse.

Extras: Customize your broom cupboard with a wall-mounted holder designed to keep long-handled items like brooms, mops and dusters upright and out of the way. A separate upper cabinet for heavy-duty cleaning supplies allows for latching, which is especially important if there are kids in the house.

A few strategically placed metal shelves and some plastic totes will really help you to get that garage organized. Plastic totes are really cheap and when you label them, you will always know what goes into them so you can find what you need much faster. Remember to stack things that can stack and use totes for things that cannot. Via: BHG – Budget-Friendly Bins

If you want to make the shelves more rigid as well as more attractive, nail on 1×2 front edges (Photo 6). Use an air nailer or predrill if hand nailing. Finally, line up the shelves and attach them to the brackets from underneath with screws 1/2 in. longer than the depth of the bracket.

I need a piece of furniture for the brooms, mops, buckets and possibly some cleaning products. I’d like something either quirky (e.g. industrial) or in keeping with kitchen (kind of shaker in Victorian house) but not matchy matchy. Any ideas anyone?

Mason jars have a different type of lid – sort of a plate and a ring. If paint is left in there for ages and gets onto the plate, you can still pop it off and replace the plate – or both the plate and ring. If paint gets stuck to a baby jar lid, you’ll have a hard time twisting off the lid. Or ……. you could just try not to get any paint on any of the lids until you try to open the jar. Hope that helps.

The BBC switchboard was jammed with calls of protest, but the final link of the day, presented from the doughnut at Television Centre, revealed the spoof and that he and Gordon would in fact be staying and joining Sarah Greene that September, to host the new Saturday morning show, which was called Going Live!

I really like this little buggy. It went together quickly and all the pieces fit together nice and snug. The only thing I would like to see improved is using wheels a bit bigger and mounting them to the sides of unit instead of underneath, and locks on all four wheels instead of just two. I had my rack assembled in a few minutes and then tidied up our tool shed in no time at all. There is ample room to store all our yard tools and more. There are varying sized slots for the long handled tools such as rakes, shovels, etc. with springy attachments which hold them in place nicely. I even had room on the cart to put our gas can and extra motor oil for the lawnmower and hedge trimmer. My husband had been just leaning everything all around the shed and it was hard to find what I wanted. Now all the tools are in one place, and I can unlock the wheels and turn the unit to get at the things on the back row easily.

This cabinet is being used as a linen closet. I love it. It looks like a pricy piece, and it is super roomy. Easy to assemble as well. Only down side is that since it is a more economical cabinet, it does scratch easy. you just need to be really careful with it. Other than that it’s perfect!

A new presenter joined Children’s BBC to link the morning schedule. His name was Andy Crane, a former DJ at Piccadilly Radio in Manchester. He spent almost four years with Children’s BBC and in that time sported a variety of hairstyles, most of which can be seen on this website!

I have sold flooring for more than 15 years and I would never advise using vinegar on wood, vinyl or laminate. It is an acid and will eventually destroy the finish. Additionally, steam cleaners should never be used on wood or laminate floors. Laminate floor joints are especially sensitive to water and the steam will eventually weaken the impregnated resins that protect the joints.

A new presenter joined the fold to look after the Christmas 1987 morning links, which originated in Presentation Studio A, from a set comprising 2D Christmas trees on casters! The presenter was Simon Parkin, a former DJ at Radio Tees in Middlesbrough. As the owner of probably the only ginger mullet ever to feature on British television, Simon’s time at Children’s BBC spanned four years and saw him present almost every variant during that time.

Great…Your advice is really helpful because it is the most important need of every human being on earth and for earth itself if your surroundings are clean then it will benefit you to remain healthy and keep our environment healthy.

Cons: Not sure how long the plastic that holds the mop in place will last. Removing the mop to shake it requires a lot of bending and twisting to the plastic holder. This might be the weak link to this mop. Only time will tell. I would of preferred a round mop A round mop head and a more effective way to remove the mop from holder would earn this item five stars.

Synthetic dust mops are commonly stitched in a looped end pattern that prevents fraying and gives better pickup of soil. Because of the looped end construction, these dust mops can be laundered many times. It is also easy to shake them out or use a brush to clean them as well. Since there is no oily treatment, they are easily cleaned.

Edd and Wilson eventually returned to the Broom Cupboard. Edd particularly liked the theatrical release Dick Tracy, starring Warren Beatty and Madonna, and regularly appeared in tribute, wearing a yellow raincoat and hat, as Duck Tracy. In the movie, Madonna’s character was called Breathless Mahoney and so in The Broom Cupboard, one of Edd’s feathered friends appeared – as the mute Quackless Baloney!

The $18 O-Cedar Angler Angle Broom with Dust Pan is the best at sweeping cramped corners because of its sharp angle. It’s an effective sweeper and has the best bundled dustpan we tested. But its sharp angle and long, soft bristles fling piles of dust, so our panel eliminated it.

We at The Broom Cupboard club are firm believers in the Fair Use policy, which allows limited use of copyrighted material for the purpose of discussion, review or parody. Our videos are always posted solely to provoke discussion and review, and to remind everybody of a time when kids TV was still great. However, the bots used by the big movie and TV companies are unable to distinguish between a video that is protected by fair use and one that isn’t.

The $13 O-Cedar Dual-Action Microfiber Flip Mop has a wide, microfiber and synthetic blend chenille head that can hold more dirt than any dust mop we tested. It was the only dust mop we tested that could pick up an entire tablespoon of spilled flour, and it could cover more area than any other dust mop before needing a wash—we needed six Swiffer sheets to clean the equivalent square footage (and those weren’t as effective, either). It’s big enough to work quickly, yet nimble enough to get dust from corners, and its refill covers are affordable and durable.

The $20 Libman Precision Angle Broom with Dustpan is one of the best-selling indoor brooms on Amazon and a smaller version of our runner-up pick. This broom had an inconsistent number of bristles per clump, which thwarted my plan to count the bristles of every broom we tested. This inconsistency is a drawback, but it’s a bad broom for other reasons: It’s an inch shorter than our runner-up and has a smaller head. The bottom line: Our runner-up is better at sweeping.

A tower rack in the corner gives you the perfect storage solution for brooms and other long handled items. Many of these are on wheels so you can easily roll them wherever you need them or get a stationary one to keep in the corner for permanent storage. Shovels, rakes and other longer tools store perfectly. Via: Amazon.com – Rubbermaid 5E28 Deluxe Tool Tower Rack with Casters, Holds 40 Tools

Organize all your yard tools with the monkey bar large yard tool rack. Only 4 screws into 2 studs 48” apart, and you’re finished. This rack does not limit you on the size of yard tools; you can hang a wheel barrow, shovels, rakes, weed eaters, leaf blowers, and hedge clippers.

As you partake in the offerings and wonder just where you are, enjoy the classic blues music playing. Note the five-panel painting, our artist Andy Eccleshall’s tribute to the late Jim Boyer, who was a longtime Portland musician and member of a McMenamins’ favorite, the Freak Mountain Ramblers. Boyer is depicted in the center, and his lyrics are woven through the panels, to live on.

The plans are spot on. Appreciate the cutting notes for the boards. I used pre-cut 2×2 sheets of plywood from Home Cheapo. I added a set of wheels on the bottom. I have this in a corner by the front of my garage door and the wheels allow me to simple roll it out and access any tool I need. I had some left over stain so I used that you make it look richer. Too fancy for the garage? The thing is solid and does not tip or get top heavy, something that I was concerned about with the store models.
