If you just really don’t have enough space in your garage, you can add-on easily. You just have to ensure that you are set where building codes are concerned and then you can add just a small section to give you the extra storage that you need. A simple wooden foundation takes just a little time and is fairly inexpensive.Via: Familyhandyman – Get More Garage Storage With a Bump-Out Addition

I wasn’t expecting such a good deal on these cute hanging storage cups. They are much bigger and sturdier than I thought they would be. They are a great deal for the price. They do not come with instructions but are very easy to assemble. I would definitely recommend them if you want cute storage cups to hang on your wall.

When we first dove into broom research, we discovered that no one else reviews brooms, dustpans, or dust mops—individually or as a category. We found a list of best-selling brooms, a slideshow of “the best brooms,” and a Tip of the Day from Consumer Reports that points out that brooms don’t use electricity, but vacuums do. (The more you know!) With so little information out there, the only way to find the best cleaning tools was to get down and dirty with a few dozen of them.

While dust mopping floors is a fairly common practice, there are several factors that can make it more productive and reduce the chances that it will result in damage to the floor or the floor finish. Knowing how to dust mop properly can reduce time on regular and restorative floor maintenance.

The OXO Good Grips Clip-On Dustpan has a few useful design touches that set it apart from the competition. Most dustpans have an edge-to-edge ridge, but our pick’s ridge tapers near the sides of the large polypropylene body to make it easier to empty the dustpan into the trash. This design foiled our original water capacity test—the liquid flowed out the sides—but solid debris was no problem. Our pick easily held a half cup of rice because of its large capacity and 1.3-centimeter-high ridge, a some dustpans failed.

Edd, a six-year old showbiz mallard with a green mohican and ambitions to become a Blue Peter pet, became a Broom Cupboard fixture for almost four years, forming something of a double act with both Andy Crane and successive presenter Andi Peters. Edd was huge – releasing his own record (Awesome Dood), and even featuring in his own programmes. He was actively merchandised by BBC Enterprises, appearing on mugs, badges and even in a computer game, and was adopted by the British Olympic team as their mascot for the 1990 Games.

Greater emphasis was being placed on the use of trailers throughout the television industry at this time. A notable exercise in the run up to the launch of the 1988 season of But First This was the suffixing of all trails with a further generic mini-trail for But First This, using part of the opening titles and theme music. This caused confusion on more than one occasion, with Simon being put back on air too early before the second part of trailer had finished!

I’ve only had this mop for a few weeks, but I really like it. I had a Mr. Clean dust mop and it worked okay, however the handle was always coming unscrewed from the base. This dust mop is wider and glides along the floor much better. The handle seems to stay in place and the comb that came with it m…  see moreof sweet pea’s review

Ok, so you’re bound to have duct tape in your garage. If you have several rolls of differently colored tapes or different types of tape, you can easily create a dispenser that mounts to the wall and keeps your tapes perfectly organized. A few boards and a hacksaw blade are all you need to create a great dispenser that not only keeps your tape organized, it cuts it the perfect length every time. HI! This is an amazing list! Thank you! A couple questions: I didn’t see them in the competition, but were Norwex or eCloth dry/dusting mops part of the test? My biggest frustration with sweeping large areas inside, is that I feel like small brooms take a long, long time to cover the space and get the job done. Do you think with the effectiveness of the top recommendations, that it would go faster? Or would your recommend a wider broom?

To make them more effective, it is common to use a dust mop treatment. This is a chemical that is sprayed directly onto the dust mop to aid in trapping dust. While there are many different formulas for dust mop treatment, the main compound is usually a natural oil, typically banana oil.

Tools. Tools, and hand tools in particular, also seem to multiply. Get rid of the tools you no longer need or use, whether they’re extra trowels or that trimmer for the hedge you removed a few years back. – elena_montgomery
