People usually notice only two factors while selecting a broom. One is its use, and other is the material. Most of the people consider the broom which provides sweep for the outdoor surfaces. The broom needs to be good to pick up the outdoors and indoors dust. However. An indoor broom would be different from the outdoor one. It will not stand the outdoor terrain for so long and wear out quickly. It is best to recognize your needs and make the efficient choice.
Wear sturdy, supportive shoes; these protect feet from injury. Avoid wearing footwear that is easy to slide out of, such as flip-flops, especially if using a step stool. Springy sneakers or lace-up walking shoes keep you on your feet, and protect toes from splashed cleaning solutions or a dropped tool. Add a cleaning apron with pockets for further protection, and to keep tools and cleaners close at hand. If your apron has side loops, hang spray bottles of cleaning solution from them ready for use. Line apron pockets with plastic bags to corral bits of trash. Stockpile a stack of cleaning cloths in one pocket, a cleaning sponge in another. You’re dressed to clean.
The $22 Bona Microfiber Floor Mop has an extendable handle like the Simplee Cleen, but it also has the same built-in Velcro that prevents us from recommending the Simplee Cleen. None of the Bona’s cloths were as good at cleaning as our pick, and removing the cloth from the Velcro teeth resulted in a massive dust plume in the air and all down my front. The Simplee Cleen had the same problem, but to a lesser degree.
Yes. The head is totally dishwasher safe, and it can also be washed by hand in the sink, hosed off outside, etc. The handle will collapse to about 34 inches and expand to about 60 inches. You can set it to whatever length you like best within that range. You will be very happy with it’s ability to remove hair from any type of flooring.
In June 2009, with extensive production from Lil’ Fame (as Fizzy Womack) and a historic guest-list (Masta Ace, Kool G Rap, Sadat X), the RZA-executive produced Wu-Tang Chamber Music debuted in the Top 50 within its first week. M.O.P. themselves appeared on the album cut Ill Figures alongside Raekwon and Kool G Rap.
When it comes to eco-friendly products, this broom is sure to occupy a place in every list out there. No less than 80% of the broom is made out of recycled bottles, which makes it environmentally-friendly to an impressive standard. At the same time, its metal handle has a sleek black finish which is also very easy to grip and use. The bristles of the broom themselves are robust and stiff and do a superb job of dealing with wet and heavy debris.

Yes. The pole will arrive short, but it extends to about twice the length. Simply hold one side in your right hand, and the other side in your left hand. Twist to loosen, then extend to your desired length, and twist in the opposite direction to make it tight. The pole will extend to normal broom length when all the way extended. You could also use the head on a longer handle if you need to. It has a standard thread.
The oxo dustpan is THE WORST. It quite literally fails to pick up dust. It can handle larger particles but the lip is too high for dust to slide in. I have never been so frustrated by a sweethome rec, or a dustpan.
This broom is so much more efficient than any other broom I’ve ever used that I’ve already ordered another one. It’s lightweight and gathers so much debris with one stroke that there’s no need to go back over your work endlessly. I would highly recommend this product.

Dust top to bottom. When dusting, it’s inevitable that some dust will fly, no matter how careful the cleaner. Give yourself a second chance to collect escaped dust particles by starting at the top and working down: ceiling fan or light fixtures, wall-hung artwork, window moldings, furniture and baseboards.

HI! This is an amazing list! Thank you! A couple questions: I didn’t see them in the competition, but were Norwex or eCloth dry/dusting mops part of the test? My biggest frustration with sweeping large areas inside, is that I feel like small brooms take a long, long time to cover the space and get the job done. Do you think with the effectiveness of the top recommendations, that it would go faster? Or would your recommend a wider broom?
Cleaning Tip: I use the Libman Wonder Mop to clean my baseboards. Dip it in a solution of water and household vinegar (white), wring it out and swish it over baseboards. No bending over! Great on the back!

Keep the bristles from getting crushed. It’s very easy to bend any kind of broom bristles out of shape if there’s any weight on them, as I remembered slightly too late for my Quickie sample. Do not let your broom sit on its bristles. Hang the broom by its handle, or lean it so that the bristles aren’t touching anything.
Wanna get rid of hair or dust on upholstery? Writer Hilary Reid discovered a “broom” that’s essentially a giant sticky roller: “The jumbo lint roller on a long stick quickly became the essential cleaning tool I never knew I needed. Here’s how it works: Extend the handle to a comfortable length, and then roll the sticky adhesive part across the rug, so that it picks up hair, dirt, and whatever else is lurking within. Once the adhesive sheet is covered, tear it off and begin again. Roll and repeat, until you’ve finished its surface area.”

With extended access hours, ground-floor spaces, and onsite dollies and handcarts, you certainly won’t be alone on move-in day. Some of our facilities even provide 24-hour access! If you opt for an outdoor space on the first floor, you’ll be able to park your car or moving truck at the front door of your storage unit. It doesn’t get simpler than that.
Broom bristle fibers can also be flagged or unflagged—flagged broom fibers have split ends like frizzy hair. Their fine tips are very good for sweeping up dust, but terrible for thicker, heavier materials—aka, the larger debris you need an outdoor broom to be able to move. The best outdoor brooms at least have unflagged fibers, and ideally, a combination of flagged and unflagged. Out of our sample, only three brooms—the O’Cedar 24” push broom (our top pick), the Quickie (budget pick), and the Libman 24″ Multi-Surface Heavy Duty Push Broom—had this mix of flagged fibers and unflagged fibers, which can grab fine particles and manage coarse pushing as well.
