Have you considered evaluating the Casabella neon broom? It appears to be very similar but the handle is slightly different – would be curious to hear your take, since it’s much easier and cheaper to come by.
Though cotton dust mops can be brushed free of most large debris, the fine dust that is trapped by the dust mop treatment is difficult to remove. Being a natural fiber, the cotton fibers will also begin to breakdown quickly, and give less than optimal results.

I like those dust mobs! I think I’ll look into them. Personally I use and prefer a Swiffer because of its ease of use—and because my apartment is not that huge, so the cost is acceptable. My problem with microfiber cloths is that they bind so many dust balls, so I don’t want to put them in the same laundry cycle as my clothes. I also have a spray mob, and I really do like it, but washing the microfiber cloths is just annoying because of that. If my bathroom floor is really dirty, I occasionally even use the wet Swiffer sheets just so that I don’t have to deal with that wet and dirty microfiber cloth. What am I to do with a single cloth a week? In my country at least, those Swiffer sheets get burnt, not put into the ground.
I just built a shed and wanted something that could hold my backyard tools together in a more organized fashion. I wanted something that I could easily move around outside the shed with the casters that are on the bottom. In this review, I’ll try to answer some of the questions that have been asked.

If you want a dustpan-and-brush set—to clean small messes, or if you don’t like using a big broom to sweep into a dustpan—we recommend the Target Up & Up Dustpan Set. Going by the set’s dustpan alone, none of our panel members liked it better than the OXO dustpan because it’s narrower, its lip leaves more dust behind, and it isn’t as comfortable to hold. It was, however, part of the best of eight brush-and-dustpan sets we tested, and its brush was the only one with flagged bristles, which really help capture dust.

After that, we applied the criteria to narrow the hundreds of sweeping products into the three dozen we called in for testing, which we’ve outlined below. After using the tools at home for six months, and getting more opinions from friends and Wirecutter colleagues, we’ve gotten more intimate with brooms than you’d think was possible. Now I can identify the make and model of any broom I see on the street or TV—a new talent I hope to never lose.

Phillip’s producer was known as Sid. In reality, Sid was a number of different people, since the job of producing Children’s BBC fell on a rota basis to staff Assistant Producers in the Presentation department. Sid was never wholly seen in vision, viewers only ever catching a shoulder or an arm on screen.
I just wanted to say thank you for the inspiration I found in your garden tool rack plan/blog. I modified it a bit, increasing the dimensions to 48 x 32 and using 3/4 plywood and 2x4s. The added width increased stability and I was able to use an 8-foot sheet of plywood with no waste. I also had to decrease the on-center spacing of the holes to 3-7/8 to allow for a 12 x 8 grid of holes between the outer frames of 2x4s. The materials cost a bit more, but the result is heavy-duty and it saved a ton of space, not to mention holes in my shop liner!

In Spring 1988, the BBC1 and BBC2 Presentation Control Rooms were swapped. The new BBC1 continuity booth was much larger and consequently a new set was built. This was light brown in colour, and featured new additions such as a shelf, coat pegs and pipework to the rear!
Personally, I like to save my vacuum for carpets/rugs, and I use a broom+pan+dustmop for hard surfaces. I start with the broom+dustpan to sweep up the “big chunkies” like dust-bunnies and the like, which tend to hind under chairs or tables, or underneath counters which overhang the floor, and then I follow up with the dustmop to collect finer particles in the middle of the floor and in areas with more regular foot-traffic. It’s just faster for me to be able to pull those tools out and go to town than it is to drag out the vacuum and wrestle with the extensions+cord to do the same job.
The $15 OXO Good Grips Angled Broom is a good broom and made it into our top four. However, our panel decided that its bristles are too soft, the head is thinner and less dense than our pick, and it flings too much debris to recommend.

Before reading this guide, I always shied away from flagged bristles, because I thought they looked prematurely/unnecessarily worn, and they reminded me of various brooms that I’d used in the past that had been improperly-stored (i.e. sitting on the bristles) which also had flagged bristles… After reading this guide for the first time about a year ago, I ordered a Cassabella, and it’s been great so far. I never realized how good *new* and properly maintained flagged bristles could be. Thanks!
