This magnetic tool bar reminds me of the magnetic knife holder used in kitchens; why not use one in the garage?! Instead of digging through a drawer, keep all of those tools (drill bits, screws, wrenches, nails, etc.) at an arm’s reach. No more digging through a drawer to find what you need!

Any time you decide to begin organizing, it is important that you think about labeling things. Without labels you are not likely to know what goes in what container. You can use labels on shelves, boxes and plastic bins or for smaller items like sidewalk chalk, label small buckets and hang them from the wall or the front of a shelf. There are many ways that labels can help you to become more organized. Via: Iammommahearmeroar – Garage Organization Tips
I have a hard time keeping track of all my hand tools. Half the time, they get left in the garden to rust in between planting sessions. And don’t get me started on all those gardening gloves that no longer have a mate! This simple solution from The Coupon Project repurposes a canvas shoe organizer to keep everything contained.

Lift the mop and let excess water drip off. Once you’ve given it plenty of time to soak, lift your mop and hold it above the bucket. Mops often absorb way more water than need, so hold your mop up for 2 to 3 seconds to let excess liquid fall back into the bucket.

A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart. I am alone, and feel the charm of existence in this spot, which was created for the bliss of souls like mine. I am so happy, my dear friend, so absorbed in the exquisite sense of mere tranquil existence, that I neglect my talents. I should be incapable of drawing a single stroke at the present moment; and yet I feel that I never was a greater artist than now. When, while the lovely valley teems with vapour around me, and the meridian sun strikes the upper surface of the impenetrable foliage of my trees, and but a few stray gleams steal into the inner sanctuary throw myself down among the tall grass by the trickling stream; and, as I lie close to the earth. , a thousand unknown plants are noticed by me: when I hear the buzz of the little world among the stalks, and grow familiar with the countless indescribable forms of the insects and flies, then I feel the presence of the Almighty, who formed us in his own image, and the breath ——– Help your order
Plastic cups that you can pick up for $1 for 3 are a great way to organize tools and other items. You just have to mount them on the wall or better yet, on a pegboard. Just drill 2 holes in each cup and secure to the pegboard using zip ties. You can create an entire board filled with cup storage to keep all of those smaller items organized. Via: Flickr
Keeping nails and screws, as well as other small items, organized is easy when you simply take empty jars and mount them underneath shelving. You just use a screw through the lid of the jar and then the jar screws onto the lid. This not only keeps those smaller items within reach, it helps to give you more shelf space for other things. Here’s a pointer on storing pointed tools for instant availability. Drill 5/8-in. holes through a few 4- or 5-in. foam craft balls (available at craft stores), and skewer and glue them along a 5/8-in. dia. dowel with construction adhesive. Screw together a 3/4-in. wood bracket, drilling a stopped 5/8-in.-diameter hole 1/2 in. deep in the bottom end and a 3/4-in. hole through the upper end. Screw the bracket at a convenient height, slide in the foam balls and load them with drill, router and spade bits; paint brushes; screwdrivers; Allen wrenches; awls; X-Acto knives; pencils and, well, you get the point.
