Use versatile pegboard for a custom layout of hand tools, shelves and storage bins. Outline the tools on the pegboard to indicate when something is missing. Use drawers for small tools and cabinets for larger items. Some cabinets even have locks for added security and safety. If children are in the home, consider locking cabinets for storing materials or tools that could be dangerous.

Broom and mop holders are great for eliminating the clutter from messy closets by providing neat organization and storage for long-handled cleaning tools like brooms, mops, dustpans, dusters, and more. Our wall mounted broom holders come in several sizes to accommodate a full array of floor cleaning tools or maybe just a few essential items like a broom and dustpan for the kitchen or bathroom. Maximize storage space in utility closets, stairwells, the garage, and more by keeping sweepers, dust pans, mops, and more neatly organized and securely stored right on the walls in your closet, stairwell, or garage.
Defibrillation will assist in the maintenance and longevity of the synthetic turf fibers but may also void the warranty of the synthetic turf due to over defibrillation. Over Defibrillation or excessive power brooming can diminish the life of the fibers and may cause memory loss and premature matting. This is especially important for “Slit Film” fibers. Excessive defibrillation on “Slit Film” fibers will cause the fibers to split into thinner fibers and cause premature matting.

Mount our Mop & Broom Organizer to a wall in the garage, laundry room or pantry to create space for hanging your cleaning tools. The two round hooks securely hold handled tools. Use the three small hooks for hanging cleaning cloths or dusters.
Mix warm water and a standard cleaning product. Grab a bucket and pour in enough water to completely submerge your mop head. Then, mix in a small amount of dish soap, apple cider vinegar, bleach, ammonia, or a similar cleaning product. As a general rule, use no more than 1⁄2 c (120 ml) of cleaning product per 1 US gal (3,800 ml) of water.
Prolong the life of your saw blades with a short section of 1/2-in. PVC pipe. Hold the pipe tight against slightly opened vise jaws, and saw a slit down the entire pipe (this is a tricky cut, but it only has to be done once). Slide it over the blade to keep the teeth sharp.

When you begin organizing, it is important that you group like items together. This ensures that you can easily find what you are looking for. Don’t forget the labels as well. You can keep things in plastic tubs and when you label those tubs, you will always know where everything is. Tubs will stack or fit into most shelving units which make them a great choice for overall organization. Via: Rookietorockstar – Garage Organization

The mop head on the O-Cedar is washable, and uses the O-Cedar Microfiber Cloth Mop Refill (Est. $7). Testers with TheSweethome.com particularly like that the microfiber fabric is looped, which prevents tangles during use. They also praise the extendable handle, but several reviewers report issues getting it to extend properly and stay locked during use, and generally say that the handle feels flimsy. Otherwise, most love their O-Cedar mop and say they can’t believe how much cleaner it gets their floors compared with other mops they have owned.

Mop your floor in small sections. In order to get as much grime up as you can, focus on a single 4 to 6 in (10 to 15 cm) section at a time. This will allow you to cover as much of the floor with cleaning solution as possible.
Those who would like the convenience of the Swiffer WetJet without the ongoing costs or environmental impact should look at the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop Kit (Est. $45). It has a higher initial cost than the Swiffer, but the microfiber pads are washable and reusable, and the included cleaning solution bottles accept any cleaner you like to use. The kit includes two bottles and three pads. Many users say they use two different solutions in the two bottles depending upon what type of floor they’re cleaning. Additional pads are available as the Rubbermaid Reveal Mop Microfiber Cleaning Pad (Est. $6).
The Mopnado’s wringing mechanism is similar to the one on the Twist & Shout. Instead of using a pedal to operate the mechanism, you simply push down on the handle. But the Mopnado also has a spin agitator, meaning you actually spin the mop head on the wet side of the bucket to remove dirt and grime, and then move it to the wringer to spin it dry. Reviewers like this feature, saying it does a better job of keeping grime off their mop head, and accordingly, off their floors.

Design-wise, the slots are close enough to make hung items pretty crowded, and I had to forgo using one slot on each of my two holders. With the right selection of items and very careful arrangement, all of the slots could probably be used. An added benefit to making the holder longer, with more widely spaced slots, would be that you could sink both of the outer pairs of screws into studs for a sturdier and stronger mount. (It wouldn’t work for every application, but for those where it doesn’t, you could just mount the center screws to studs, as with the current model.)
Here’s a top way to recycle those Plastic Bottles. Turn them into nuts and bolts holders. You can even use this idea in your pantry. All you need to do is make a hole large enough to fit your hand and you can hang them on a Peg Board. We found this great idea on Popular Woodworking.

When using SGW True Putt product, a power broom is a must! SGW True Putt is a professional system for avid golfers. It requires placement of 6-8 pounds of infill. Once the fibers are completely filled, the power broom bristles are used to “cut” the sand level. This process I call “Cutting” does not mean using a knife or scissors. “Cutting” with a power broom of the completely filled surface splits the fibers of the True Putt and removes ¼” of sand to create a smooth surface for the ball to roll on. This process should consist of power brooming north and south then east to west and at all angles. When “Cutting” of the putting green surface is complete a water roller or smooth drum roller is needed to bend the remaining ¼” fibers flat. This will complete the True Putt System.
This rotary-bit organizer may just inspire a renaissance of rotary tool use in your shop. Friction-fit a piece of 3/4-in. plastic foam in a snap-lid plastic food container. Then poke holes in the plastic foam with an awl to hold shafted bits, and slice crevices with a utility knife to hold cutoff discs. Using a spade bit at high speed, drill sockets for larger bits and tube-shape containers. Once your bits are in order, you can rediscover how useful they can be.
I am rating this Bona Microfiber mop a 4/5 based on Amazon’s scale of a 4 being “I like it!”. The mop is a nice size and does exactly what it’s meant to do, but I feel like the mop handle itself could be a little bit more sturdy. I have only just received the mop, and only used it a few times so far, but I do think a stronger mop handle would be better in the long run, especially if you will be using this frequently. I have wood flooring in my kitchen and dining room, and therefore, tend to use the mop 1-2 times daily, depending on meals and messes, etc.
A tower rack in the corner gives you the perfect storage solution for brooms and other long handled items.
