The Small Hand Tool Rack TB052 can be used for vertically storing up to 5 hand tools or 1 trimmer line in an enclosed trailer or the back of a pickup truck. Prevent your small hand tools from scattering all over the place in the back of your pickup truck or enclosed trailer with the Small Hand Tool Rack TB052.

Add 12 in. to the sum of your handle measurements and cut a 1×6 to that length. Use a combination square to draw a line along the length of the board, ¾ in. from one edge. Mark 6 in. along that line for the first tool and then make marks for the rest of the tool handles, adding 6 in. to each measurement you noted.

The $10 Casabella Wayclean Wide Angle Broom is the best indoor broom we found. It’s the single best sweeper, with a bristle quantity, design, texture, and density that no other broom could match. The broom’s 2,880 bristles (by our count) are packed more densely and distributed more evenly than other brooms we tested. Combined with their flagged (split) tips, which excel at picking up fine, dusty debris, the bristles cleaned spills of cat litter, flour, and rice better than any other broom. Those PVC bristles are also thinner than those on other brooms—at 0.491 millimeter thick, they’re half as fat as some competing bristles, which makes the broom feel soft and pliable. The Casabella also has the best balance and the most comfortable handle of any broom we tested—and it is the least expensive broom in the mix. It doesn’t come with a dustpan, but we have that covered.

I’m not sure that storing paint in jars is a good idea. More than 10 years ago, I sponge painted my bathroom. I mixed 4 or 5 custom colors to sponge over the solid base coat. I poured the left over mixed colors into baby food jars. Now they are either dried out or the lids are stuck on so I can’t use the colors for touch ups. Some of the paint on the walls has blistered and cracked even though I added glaze and I have no way to duplicate the colors to make repairs. I will probably just cover some of them with small pictures or wide hooks for bathrobes, which are much needed anyway.

Cabinets are really not that difficult to install yourself and you can save a virtual fortune by doing so. You can purchase cabinets already built and then just hang them on the walls yourself. The cabinets are great for storing things and keeping the garage neat and tidy and depending on the size and number of cabinets that you get, you may be able to store everything away so that your garage always looks completely clean. Call it tool storage on the go. This tool-holding unit comes with wheels, so you can put it to use in the garden before returning it to the garage or shed. It also offers interchangeable shelves and bin.

If you need a wet mop then get a REAL, commercial wet mop from Rubbermaid. Buy a wood handle with a gripper clamp on the end. Use Cotton or Cotton blend commercial mop heads. Get a real mop bucket with a down press mop squeezer. Rubbermaid again.

Will update on how the plastic holder is preforming after repeated mop removals. Shaking the mop to clean it without removing it from the plastic holder would surely cause the flat plastic to break or crack. I had that experience before. Something to work on O-Cedar!

Tools. Tools, and hand tools in particular, also seem to multiply. Get rid of the tools you no longer need or use, whether they’re extra trowels or that trimmer for the hedge you removed a few years back. – elena_montgomery

Yet this space reopens to the public in the afternoons with a spirited bit of offerings: classic cocktails, with an emphasis on a greater selection of whiskey, scotch and Port. A menu of small bites is available as well.

Two further stars from this period in Broom Cupboard history were simply inanimate props – the Isetta car and the koala. Both had been sent in by viewers. The Isetta (bubble car) was a plastic toy which it seems proved very desirable to collectors, but had actually just been sent to Children’s BBC as an alternative to the dustbin. The koala too found refuge in the Broom Cupboard and was soon joined by many more sent in by viewers.

Organize all your yard tools with the monkey bar large yard tool rack. This rack will securely store 12-20 yard tools off the floor. Only 4 screws into 2 studs 48” apart, and you’re finished. No longer do you have to hang yard tools on nails on the wall where studs exist; this gives you the versatility to store everything off the ground and regain valuable floor space. This rack does not limit you on the size of yard tools; you can hang a wheel barrow, shovels, rakes, weed eaters, leaf blowers, and hedge clippers.

Hardworking details: A space accessible from both sides is handy for stowing a small garbage can or recycling bin. Choose adjustable shelving whenever possible, since this will allow you to get just the right shelf height for what you’re storing. And if you really don’t want to let an inch go to waste, use inside top of the cabinet to install an old-fashioned pencil sharpener — look closely and you can see one here.

Wall organizers help you take advantage of the space around a room and even overhead, so you can find what you need at eye level or above and keep clutter off the floor. From peg boards to bike hooks, Ace can help you find a place for everything in your home, basement and garage. For additional storage solutions, you may even want to consider incorporating heavy duty shelving and water-resistant totes.

Center the rack across the brackets, adjusting if necessary to prevent a slot from falling over a bracket. Mark for screw holes. Take the rack down to pre-drill and then use a screwdriver to secure it to the bracket with 5/8-in. screws.

One of the best places to store things, if you want to save floor space that is, is the ceiling. You can easily create a sliding storage system that hangs from the ceiling and saves all of your wall and floor area for other things. A few plastic bins and a tracking system will instantly turn your garage ceiling into the perfect storage and organization solution and this system is easy to build so you can do it yourself. I also recall not too long ago when I saw the ‘handicapped’ washroom at a local hospital being used as a broom closet and at another time, the washroom for the disabled locked, so no-one could use it.

I suppose that depending on the type of vacuums people have, it may not be able to get into as many spaces as a good old-fashioned broom could. Then again, it may, but maybe not without extensions (which, personally, I like to avoid pulling out and using unless I have to). Maybe it doesn’t need extensions… in that case, a broom still has cordlessness going for it. Unless you have a battery-powered vacuum… then I guess there’s really nothing a broom can do that that a vacuum can’t. I think it’s mostly just preference, really.
