Hey Ginny, thanks for featuring this project. I am on my way over to link up my project from this week. It is all about keeping the ideas flowing. We never know where the next inspiration will come from.
There is utter chaos in here. The floor is piled deep with tarps and tools that have no home. There are many tools we just can’t find anymore. So I started by emptying out the entire tool end of the wood shed. I organized it all on the driveway. It seemed to stretch for miles. Job number one was purging and identifying the trash. I had no problem there.
The Karcher SC1 Steam Stick is a lightweight, versatile steam cleaner that can be used as a steam mop or simply as a handheld cleaner. It comes with a hand tool, small plastic brush, power nozzle and detail nozzle, as well as two 45cm-long tubes and a 110cm hose. For flats and small houses with minimal storage space, it doesn’t get more compact and practical than this.
This broom holder from Anybest is perhaps the most fascinating of them all. Its futuristic design presents a double deck with 6 ball grips, 6 hooks, and 2-layered structure. This allows you to store many more items compared to the standard single-layer broom holders. It features rolling balls that automatically adjust to take the thickness of the handles. A simple lifting of the broom handle will release the grip.
– for a door in the shared wall: solid wood doors not less than 1 3/8 in thickness, solid or honeycomb-core steel doors not less than 1 3/8 thick, or 20-minute fire-rated doors, equipped with a self-closing device. [This can be difficult to understand at first: only a door assembly – a door panel and a frame – can have a fire-rating. The intent of the code is to require a door panel that would pass a 20 minute fire-rated assembly test IF it had been installed in a fire-rated frame and installed in a fire-rated wall, neither of which is required by the code. The net effect of the these code requirements is to create a 20-minute Smoke Door. The wall would probably only last 10 minutes if exposed to fire from the garage side.]
Gardening tasks are a lot easier to accomplish when you are using the right tool for the job. However, with so many tools and gadgets on the market, it can be confusing to know which ones are really worth your hard earned cash. Here are 10 tools every gardener with a garden shed should have.

It’s a light and maneuverable steam cleaner and it’s nice and balanced when you want to use it as a handheld. The triangular mop head makes it easier to get into the corners of floors, and means you won’t have to get on your hands and knees to clean tricky crevices.

Like the idea of the trash can but my suggestion is to add a little sand and motor oil to keep the shovels and rakes and such rust free just bury them in the sand and it will keep them like new. Also if you oil the handles with old English oil that will keep the handles in great condition also.
The purpose of the article is to get your creative juices flowing, not necessarily to have you copy what you see. Not everyone has an immaculate double car garage to start with. I don’t even have a garage, but a carport and I have done some really cool things there. Be a little more open minded.
is that the Spray & Steam was cheaper…But THIS PRODUCT DOES A GREAT JOB for lacking a certain feature. I work around many objects including my sons wheelchair, and it makes it SO wonderfully safe and clean whenever I use it. on my stone floors…. Thanks SHARK!!
In terms of upgrades from the basic Shark, the Professional doesn’t require any manual effort to produce steam. It has a digital steam control with three settings for dusting, mopping and scrubbing. The scrub setting, paired with the scrubbing strips on the Sonic Lift microfiber cleaning pad, was especially effective on high-traffic areas. The other side of the pocket pad features shaggy fingers which are meant to lock in dirt and dust, which is great when you want to use the lower heat dust setting on more delicate surfaces.
The PowerFresh has the so-called Easy Scrubber attached to the stem of the mop, behind the head. The idea is that you press down with your foot, lock the stiff-bristle scrubbing pad into place, and use that to clean deep into tough stains or grout. It can catch some of the deeper gunk on its way past what you just cleaned. But we found ourselves wanting to hold the Easy Scrubber down with a foot to get really deep into grout, and that was not a smart move, balance-wise.
Vitally, it offers plenty of control – you can steam, or do both at the same time. Vacuuming and steaming simultaneously is a great time saver, particularly if you have lots of hard floors. The cleaning results in our tests were excellent, and fragrance discs leave the room smelling great, too.
It’s a sturdy hand broom. I use it for my fireplace. The bristles don’t flake off, and it sweeps well. The corn isn’t inclined to burn when brushing ash and coal back into the fireplace. It’s bigger than the ones i used to get, and i was hoping it was smaller. Also, they shouldn’t cost what they do…i remember buying them at Ace for a couple bux back in the day, but i guess that’s the classic old timer’s complaint.
For your consideration, I am pleased to offer this wonderful handmade whisk broom. This antique broom has a fantastic patina and the best color! I was told that this is Shaker made, but please be the …

The SC1 heats up quickly, making it ideal for smaller jobs, with a full tank coming up to steam in three minutes. There’s only one level of steam for cleaning, but it does a thorough job of cleaning floors. Since the cleaning head is lightweight, it’s not suited to heavy rugs. Still, it’s more affordable, practical and compact than many of its rivals.

Rubbermaid, as well as a few other companies, make systems that you can hang on the wall to organize tools, garden supplies and other items in the garage. You just mount the system and use hooks to hang things up. This is a great way to make more floor space in the garage and keep it well-organized at the same time. Via: Flickr

I use my whisk broom with my dust pans. Over time it will get shorter as the bristles wear out, especially using it outdoors on concrete. I think I average about 10 years before I have to replace it. It is inexpensive enough to have several handy when you need them.
Magnetic knife holders sold at kitchen-supply stores can be mounted to the wall with a few screws and will keep paintbrush bristles from being squashed. Hang the brushes bristle end down for proper drying and to minimize the amount of dust that collects between the bristles. You can also store other metal tools and utensils this way.
Since these organizers bear weight, their construction should feature strong and durable material. Plastic is the favorite material for broom holders because of their lightness. However, they are not strong enough unless they are toughened. The best brands are those features toughened ABS plastic. Some great brands are made of lightweight metal.
