Spin mops are regular floor mops that include a system for wringing out excess water. This is usually a bucket with a wringer that is operated either by a foot pedal or by placing the mop in the wringer, causing it to spin. Some actually squeeze and wring the mop out, while others just use centrifugal force to spin the mop dry. The latter is superior because it does a better job of squeezing out excess moisture. Spin mop heads are round and the strings or strips are made from lightweight, absorbent materials. Thanks to a swiveling head and lay-flat handle, they maneuver well, even in narrow spaces. They can be used with any type of floor cleaner.
If you have little room to park your car, cleaning up and getting things organized will help immensely. You can hang a pegboard, which are really inexpensive by the way, and make more floor space. Just get a few hooks to hang tools and garden supplies. You can also hang baskets and small totes from hooks to keep smaller items put away. Via: MSN – Reclaim Your Parking Space
This product is exactly what I was looking for. It’s easy to install and actually holds a mop. Most of these types of holders allow the mop to fall out, but this one works perfectly. The only thing I would change is to make it so the hook can’t slide out so easily.
Work your way toward a door. This will ensure that you’re not stepping on parts of the floor you’ve already cleaned. If you still end up stepping on a wet area, run the mop back over it to clean up your tracks.

Any time you decide to begin organizing, it is important that you think about labeling things. Without labels you are not likely to know what goes in what container. You use labels on shelves, boxes and plastic bins or for smaller items like sidewalk chalk, label small buckets and hang them from the wall or the front of a shelf. There are many ways that labels can help you to become more organized. Via: Iammommahearmeroar – Garage Organization Tips

Fans of the O-Cedar Microfiber Cloth Mop (Est. $9) say this mop is the one to beat for absorbency and ease of use, especially when they pair it with the equally well-reviewed O-Cedar Quick Wring Bucket (Est. $9). Users say the mop head soaks up messes effectively and does an excellent job of cleaning floors without leaving streaks. The bucket is easy to use with this floor mop. Just put the mop head into the wringer and push down; the wringer collapses around the mop head, squeezing out excess liquid. It’s not as efficient as heavier, traditional wringers, owners say, but is great for casual home use. Plenty of people also use the O-Cedar Microfiber Cloth Mop without the bucket, wringing it out manually. Most say that’s easy to do, and some prefer it, saying that bucket wringers are flimsy or they like to control how much moisture to leave in the mop head. One tip: Wearing rubber gloves may make manual wringing easier.
This PVC Tool Organizer has been a huge internet success and was the inspiration for the featured video. This is a great place to start in your shed and will make a world of difference. This is one of the ideas that we plan to use in our own Garage.
Reviewers say what really sets this Microfiber Wholesale mop apart is higher-quality construction. It has a stainless-steel handle that can telescope from 4 to 6 feet long, and unlike many competing mops, it won’t collapse in the process, most owners say. It also lies almost flat against the mop pads to clean under furniture, beds, cabinets or other dusty areas. The included wet mop and dust mop pads reportedly stay put on the mop handle and can be cleaned in the washer. A handful of owners say the mop head is too big to get into tighter spaces, however.
Last, but definitely not least a gorgeous DIY rolling tool chest. Geekwoodworker has really outdone himself in this totally custom tool organizer. Idea submitted by Geekwoodworker on lumberjocks (additional photos).
Broom and mop holders are great for eliminating the clutter from messy closets by providing neat organization and storage for long-handled cleaning tools like brooms, mops, dustpans, dusters, and more. Our wall mounted broom holders come in several sizes to accommodate a full array of floor cleaning tools or maybe just a few essential items like a broom and dustpan for the kitchen or bathroom. Maximize storage space in utility closets, stairwells, the garage, and more by keeping sweepers, dust pans, mops, and more neatly organized and securely stored right on the walls in your closet, stairwell, or garage.
Another alternative to the Swiffer WetJet, just in case it’s sold out, is the O-Cedar ProMist Microfiber Spray Mop (Est. $25). It also features a refillable bottle that can be used with any cleaning solution. While the mop comes with a washable, reusable microfiber pad, O-Cedar ProMist Disposable Refills (Est. $7 for 10) are also available; they can be washed up to five times before discarding.
Design-wise, the slots are close enough to make hung items pretty crowded, and I had to forgo using one slot on each of my two holders. With the right selection of items and very careful arrangement, all of the slots could probably be used. An added benefit to making the holder longer, with more widely spaced slots, would be that you could sink both of the outer pairs of screws into studs for a sturdier and stronger mount. (It wouldn’t work for every application, but for those where it doesn’t, you could just mount the center screws to studs, as with the current model.)

Using a shelf included with your cabinet or a scrap piece of plywood cut to the dimensions of your cabinet interior, sketch out a space for each tool by marking lightly with a pencil. For a circular saw, mark a slot for the blade guard so the saw can sit level on the shelf. For tools that don’t have flat bases and might roll around, mark locations for wood blocks to keep the tools upright.

Spin Mop. A regular mop is to wet to use on hardwood flooring, no matter how well you wring it out. Spin mops, on the other hand, work just like the spin cycle in your washing machine and remove far more water than a traditional mop.
