Why: If you have the space, a tall cabinet with a partition in the center is a great way to store a lot while keeping everything in its place — vacuums and sweepers on one side, cleaning products on the other.

When cabinet and drawer space is in short supply – but your kitchenware and supplies aren’t – wall storage can fill the gap. Create your own solution with rails, hooks, containers and shelves that make everything easier to grab and also make a style statement.
If you pull the dust mop backwards, you will leave behind the line of dirt you are pushing. Similar to plowing snow or sweeping with a broom, dust mops push dirt along on their leading edge. This is also why dust mop handles usually swivel. It makes sharp turn much easier.
What chemicals do you use to clean the dust mop’s microfiber without destroying the microfibers ? I’m not sure on the additives but I do know that oils clog the fibers holes. Also can someone tell me if microfibers are naturally electrostatically charged or does it require a chemical coating? It would be cool if you did a article on the science of microfibers and how to care for them. Your research and reviews are great
Our pick’s head doesn’t have as extreme an angle as some brooms we tested, but it’s angled enough to get into corners, around furniture, and into odd kitchen crevices. The Casabella’s fluffy bristles are great at dragging crumbs and dust bunnies out of corners, but our pick isn’t as good as our runner-up at reaching under furniture. (We’ll address this more in the following section.)
The only way to improve a burger seasoned with McCormick Grill Mates Hamburger Seasoning is the same thing that improves any food:… bacon! Cook bacon on the grill with this easy-to-handle rack. The rack holds up to 6 strips of bacon and cooks them in a hanging position, allowing the grease to drip away from the bacon and into a well, where it can be emptied easily and prevent flare-ups while cooking on the grill. Your bacon will be browned and crispy without any mess! Drape bacon strips over the top of the rack so that the ends hang down toward the grease wells. Place rack on the grill over indirect heat and cook until the strips are crispy and brown. Use heat-resistant gloves and grip the rack’s handles to remove from the grill, and place on a heat-resistant surface. CARE: To preserve and extend the useful life of this BBQ tool or accessory, wash with a mild dishwashing soap, rinse and dry immediately. Do not use abrasive scrubbers. May also be washed safely in a dishwasher. WARNING: ENTIRE UNIT WILL GET HOT. USE OVEN MITT OR GLOVE WHEN HANDLING. USE CAUTION WHEN HANDLING HOT GREASE, IT CAN BURN AND/OR CATCH FIRE. read more

A new presenter joined the fold to look after the Christmas 1987 morning links, which originated in Presentation Studio A, from a set comprising 2D Christmas trees on casters! The presenter was Simon Parkin, a former DJ at Radio Tees in Middlesbrough. As the owner of probably the only ginger mullet ever to feature on British television, Simon’s time at Children’s BBC spanned four years and saw him present almost every variant during that time.
The O-Cedar’s refills don’t have the best build quality. There’s a small loop that O-Cedar told us is designed to help pull the head on and off the frame. (We think the loop is also useful for hanging the dust mop head to dry.) The loop worked well to hang the cloth, but when we used it to lightly tug the cover off the frame, the weak stitching on one side of the loop broke. The next time we washed the O-Cedar’s head, the loop came off entirely. This isn’t a dealbreaker because the loop isn’t crucial, but it was annoying to see it break so easily.

I just installed my second one of these units, they work great. I did have one hook that was defective this time, called the company, got a person who transferred me to Shaun where I got voicemail, grr. I hung up, but before I could put the phone down Shaun called me back (caller ID), quickly understood the problem and sent me a new hook, no problem. Given that they come with more than enough hooks it wasn’t a big issue but the service was awesome. I am now scanning my garage trying to figure where I can fit another one…
HI! This is an amazing list! Thank you! A couple questions: I didn’t see them in the competition, but were Norwex or eCloth dry/dusting mops part of the test? My biggest frustration with sweeping large areas inside, is that I feel like small brooms take a long, long time to cover the space and get the job done. Do you think with the effectiveness of the top recommendations, that it would go faster? Or would your recommend a wider broom?
