Great Idea. I especially like your creative approach to fastening the PVC sections of pipe to the wall by cutting angles on each end. Much better than my first blush approach by drilling a larger hole on the opposite side of the mounting hole for insering a screw driver, which is why I haven’t done it yet. Now I can take your clever idea and put it to good use.
The Reliable Steamboy Pro 300CU 3-in-1 Steam and Scrub Mop can switch between a steam pad and a very stiff scrub brush, once you press with your foot to release one triangular section and press the mop onto the other. The switching mechanism works pretty well, but it’s a niche need, considering how small the terrycloth mop pad is and how often you’ll need to clean it for any sizable room cleaning. Small isn’t necessarily a dealbreaker for everyone, but the head is also more limited in flexibility than the one on the Bissell PowerFresh.

After a day of pulling out a bucket, tossing in cleaner, mopping the floors and waiting forever for them to dry, I decided to try a steam mop. Truthfully, this was the least expensive one at WM, but I have a Shark vacuum that I love, so I figured for the price, it was worth a try. We have 30 year old vinyl tile floors and this does a great job on them! It gets up stuff that has been there for years. It dries in almost no time and because I have to pump the handle to get the steam out, I get a decent workout to go with the clean floors. But I don’t have to bend hardly at all – I’m tall and the handle is long enough for me. It’s low profile slips it under the stove as well, so it cleans a bit in an area that almost never gets cleaned. It takes tap water, has a long cord and the pads velcro on and off and go into the washing machine and dryer. Plus no chemicals involved at all. This is worth every penny and I’m mopping far more often than I did before.
Gypsum board protection is also required at all structural elements supporting the roof and any attic or floor above so most of the other walls would need to be covered with gypsum board. To avoid these requirements you would need to locate the garage more than 3 ft from the house.

You can do this two different ways. One is to add a full length stud at the corners of the long garage walls when framing them, or you can add 2′ long pieces afterward with one at the top, one at the bottom, and one right in the center height of the wall.
Slatwall panels are ideal for organization, but they also provide a finished look for your garage. The cellular foam PVC construction has a durable finish that protects your walls and they’re easy to clean.
Like the idea of the trash can but my suggestion is to add a little sand and motor oil to keep the shovels and rakes and such rust free just bury them in the sand and it will keep them like new. Also if you oil the handles with old English oil that will keep the handles in great condition also.

I would love it if you popped over and shared this at my party going on now at

It includes a a great set of well-designed tools, including a grout-scrubbing brush with a steam jet in the middle, a flat scrubber attachment, a carpet groomer and two double-sided multi-purpose cleaning mop pockets. It cleans efficiently, making light work of grubby tiles and fusty carpets.
Your garage doesn’t necessarily have to look like a garage. You can paint and add a bit of color if you want to help brighten up that space. If you have steps going into your home for instance, you can paint them a bright color and add a little message to anyone who steps over them. This is a great way to brighten up an otherwise dull and boring space. Via: Landeeseelandeedo – Garage Steps Can Be Pretty Too

Before you can erect your garage wall framing, you will have to locate and drill the anchor-bolt holes into the sole plates and place your sill-sealer onto the foundation where the wall will sit. It is best to oversize the anchor-bolt drill holes a bit so you can adjust the wall location in-and-out at the sole plate for straightness. Make the holes 3/8 larger than the bolt size. That will give you 3/16 of an inch all the way around for adjustment purposes.
Not all FRP and plastic panels can be installed directly to wall studs; a lot of are designed to go over drywall or wood sheathing. Examine the setup guidelines to verify whether your panels can go directly over the studs.
Since tools are so essential for gardening, it’s important to store them in a way that allows you to pick them up easily whenever you need them. Nothing feels more frustrating than having to search for a tool while your garden is waiting.
For effective use of space, hang your tools and supplies against the wall. Use a simple wall organizer for smaller items. You may also build pegboard for storage. Another good way to organize your items is to simply hang your tools on a trellis or pegs rails.

Bear in mind that if the garage shares a common wall with the house, you need a fire-rated wall structure. Same goes for the ceiling if they have a common attic. 5/8 FireX drywall is probably cheapest way to meet the requirement.
